This course takes you into a what goes into creating a great photo with just the right amount of information not too much to overwhelm. Luke breaks down the photography terms I have heard of but thought it was so complicated, I will never get it. After starting this course I saw a video on using iPhone to take a photo/video and I could understand the language of Shutter Speed, Aperture and Composition, I didn't tune it out like before instead I leaned in, the course is good and to the point.

I really enjoyed this course from Luke Ayers on how to take great photos of objects with a just phone and some cheap materials and have used it to create some great photos for my website. Luke has made complicated things very simple, giving explanations and by that making a very complex process so easy. The results are great. I have previously created some photos for a website using what I have learned from him and I am more than satisfied. Thanks Luke! I am expecting more things like this in the future. Just great!

This basic course does a great job of explaining the fundamentals of lighting using simple items that can be found at home. I have struggled with the concept of lighting for years and with the simple explanation Luke uses in this course everything finally clicked for me. I even learned a few new tricks to use in photoshop. I would highly recommend this course.
